My grab it and go travel photography gear
The key thing about this gear is that it’s small and light, and comprises everything you need to take high quality photos and videos. I own and use all of it on a regular basis, and I can highly recommend each product. It all fits in the first item (a small but beautiful and highly functional backpack) with room to spare for extra clothing and (most importantly) lunch.
If you hover over an item you’ll find a short summary as to why I think it’s a great product.
The clue is in the manufacturer’s name – this is a superbly designed backpack, which oozes quality. Its dimensions are budget-airline carry-on friendly (though check with whichever airline you’re traveling with).

This is the best camera I’ve ever owned. It has IBIS (up to 7 stops), AI focus tracking and a much-acclaimed 40 MP sensor. The proliferation of dials makes it easy to use and you can see at a glance what the settings are.

This tiny pancake lens (35mm full frame equivalent) is perfect for landscapes and urban establishing scenes. It’s the same focal length as the fixed lens on the Fujifilm X100 series, but weatherproof. Light and takes up next to no space.

If I could only take one lens, this would be it. Renowned for its edge-to-edge sharpness, and has IOS. Compact and light. Lives on the front of my X-T5 most of the time. Often sold as part of a kit.

Small and light for this focal length. It has OIS offering up to 5 stops of stabilisation. High quality for a reasonable price. I use it to capture the small details in nature and in towns and cities.

This very compact and unobtrusive camera takes high quality images, owing to its 24 megapixel APS-C sensor (much larger than most compacts). It also has IBIS. Great for street photographers who want to blend in.

One of best 360-degree cameras out there. Its dual 1-inch sensors and Leica lenses give superb image quality. After shooting you can reframe and edit to get exactly the viewpoint you want. Not to mention your selfie stick will be invisible.
